Kimbar of the Jungle
Kimbar of the Jungle 1949, Steve's first film, although it was made for television. This was the first episode of 13 that were going to be made. Only one was ever made due to funding problems. It was originally called "Lion Men of Tanganyika." Steve was to be given $275.00 per episode, plus 10% of the net profits.
Dinah Shore Show
Dinah Shore first appeared on television in 1951 when she began a twice a week program over NBC. This fifteen minute show was broadcast on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 7:30 P.M. Steve made an appearance on the show. Have no show information or date. This was the same network and location that Steve at when he did the Ralph Edwards Show. Dinah pictured on right with Carol Channing who Steve appeared with in The Vamp.
Ralph Edwards Show
Filmed live in Hollywood on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays from 12:30 to 1:00 PM on NBC. Steve was a regular co-star during the 1952 - 1953 series. Steve here with Ralph Edwards.

This was Steve's First Stage appearance which started off in Sacramento California from July 19th thru July 29th 1952. He also went with the troop to Los Angeles and Chicago. He played the part of Harry Muscles Green.

Steve said that he did this show, must have been somewhere between 1953 to 1954. Can't seem to find the information anywhere.
Jimmy Durante Show
Jimmy Durante's guests include singer Connie Russell. Russell sings "Ain't Misbehavin'" and "Don't Lose Your Sense of Humor". In the finale, a group of male bodybuilders join contestant Durante in the Mr. United States contest. Not sure if this is the show but could be. Steve told me he was on the Jimmy Durante Show but couldn't remember when it was. I believe it was around 1954. Any additional information please contact me.

Athena
Athena filmed with Jane Powell & Debbie Reynolds, Steve played Ed Perkins in this 1954 musical. This was Steve first major film and was the film that started his career as Hercules.
Delilah
Steve had high hopes for this production and was thinking it could be as good a "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" but it turned out to be unsuccessful. It debut off Broadway in New Haven Connecticut at the Shubert Theatre from October 11 thru the 15th 1955. It was called "Delilah" the Vamp but went by Delilah.
The Vamp
The Show was now revamped and called "The Vamp" and opened at the National Theatre foe a short stay from Oct 29, 1955 then moved to the Winter Garden Theatre on November 10, 1955. In all it had 60 performances. Closed on Jan 1, 1956. Steve and his wife Sandra moved to Florida to open a gym until late 1956.
Burns and Allen Show
Steve filmed this shortly before he left for Italy to do Hercules. It was filmed on April 22, 1957 for Season 7 Episode 33. at General Service Studios located at 1040 N. Las Palmas, Hollywood, Los Angeles, California.
Red Skelton Show
On October 2 1956 Steve Signed a contract to do a guest spot on the Red Skelton Show. This was shortly after he returned to Los Angeles after selling the gym. It was the first half of the year that he would have done this show more likely shortly before or after the Burns and Allen Show.
